The bad review must have been about something else. First of all, the cover is beautiful and looks just like the photo and it is coated to make it last. The planner has a large 2-page spread for each month, of the 5 years, with a place to write notes on the side. Each day has a lot of space to jot notes. There is a page with a yearly 12 month calendar. Each year has whole section devoted to it. There is a page for events and special dates, a page for yearly goals, doubled sided monthly checklist, 8 lined pages for notes each year. My dog is lying on me so I cannot add photos at this time—I will add them later so you can see how nicely it is arranged. It is made in San Bernardino, CA. This is not like the $100 planners that have maps, dictionary, and God knows what. It is basic and very practical. If I want maps or a dictionary I use my smart phone. But when it comes to planning I need to write. This planner is perfect for my needs and very affordable. I will use the $90 I saved to buy dog products (on Amazon, of course). Thank you Amazon!
